Overview

The Kapo K1 is a battery-powered portable espresso maker with a 51 mm basket and a motor that builds up to 18 bar of extraction pressure. It runs on a 2000 mAh battery good for around 100 shots per charge, and it takes both fresh ground coffee and small capsules. There's no built-in heater, so you bring hot water and the K1 does the rest.

How to use

Fill the basket with about 16 g of ground coffee, or drop in a capsule, then pour hot water into the tank. Long-press the button and extraction starts within about 5 seconds, stopping on its own after 40. Around 60 ml of water yields 35 to 40 ml of concentrated espresso.
